Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've been using a Snazzio network DVD player. I wanted to upgrade or replace it with something that will read for a SAN I have hooked up using an NSLU. I just want to play my saved movie files on my TV. Any tips for a cheap replacement?
Thank you!
We would like to force our users with laptops to only use VPN if they want to establish a network connection outside our network, but we want to give them the ability to use their cached profile if they want to work on the laptop w/o a network connection.

Hello,
I wanted to find out what security solutions are available for laptop users in a corporate environment. We would like to implement hdd encryption as well as a way to lock down users to only use the network card if they are at work or using VPN from home.
any tips?
THanks
I have a PC w/ 2gig ram/amd 5000 and 320g hdd.
I was goin to use it to install Astaro, but the ram + hdd was goin to be an overkill.
what would you recommend to do w/ this computer if i wanted to implement a firewall solution, but maximize the hardware?
otherwise, i'll buy a cisco...
I guess SIEM is not an important subject on this forum :(
Anyway, our company is comparing Loglogic, TriGeo, and NitroSecurity vs. managed services such as AlertLogic and SecureWorks
