We would like to force our users with laptops to only use VPN if they want to establish a network connection outside our network, but we want to give them the ability to use their cached profile if they want to work on the laptop w/o a network connection.


any ideas?
 
sounds like you need terminal services

for cached profile you dont have to worry as windows does it automatically, maybe even look into offline files.

what applications will these users be running?
