    Installed new hardware, WinXP won't start

    Hey.. If you want to start with a fresh windows installation with new hardware the idea normally is to install the hardware then boot up with the XP CD and format the drive and install XP. From your post it sounds like you did this in the opposite order. So Windows doesn't have the drivers...

    Alright.. so after changing the ram configuration it's now working in dual channel mode and after a fresh format and reinstall of windows seems to be working just fine in Prime95 and SuperPI Thanks alot for the help!

    Ah ... alright... So I have them in slot A1 and A2 ... After rereading the manual it says for dual channel mode A1 + A2 must equal B1 + B2 ... So I guess that means I need one stick in A1 and one stick in B1? I'm not sure I have this right...
