Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi All,
I'm looking to help a friend add video surveillance to his building. He had his fire suppression/alarm company come in with a quote. For hardware only and some project management (he would install), they wanted just over 12K. This consisted of the following:
1 x 4TB TruVision NVR...
No servers at any remote sites. While not ideal, we're using SharePoint for file serving at the moment and they are fine with it.
I thought about site-to-site VPNs, but I've been reading and everyone recommends having a read-only DC at the remote sites. It's just not financially feasible...
I'm doing some volunteer work with a small non-profit (and therefore small budget, of course). I'm looking for some 'architecture' suggestions. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. The core requirement is to centralize user management at all sites (i.e., Active Directory).
Here's a...
I'm looking to replace an aging and unreliable Windows XP machine that's currently only purpose is an incoming fax 'server'. The faxes are stored on a shared folder and users go access the share to view the faxes.
This fax 'server' is 100% dedicated to a single sender and the line is...
Thanks again for your help and guidance - I really appreciate it.
I did confirm the other examples are going to the same DL.
I see the following options:
1 - Stop using DLs / Exchange contacts. Give users actual mailboxes. However, they will probably just forward their e-mail back to their...
Ah, not sure how I missed this, but the message is actually being sent to a distribution list. The DL is comprised of a group of external contacts (board members' personal) emails. I would assume this DL e-mail is getting spammed... I've always hated that they've done this, but I have never...
Found the message in the tracking center. Is this a matter of me allowing relays?
Edit: Sorry, the embedded image didn't work - Here's a link:http://postimg.org/image/dli2ofwkl/
Thank you for the response - Here are the answers to your questions:
Do you have just one example?
- They have provided 3-4 examples I believe
Does someone in your office have thier out of office turned on?
- It's certainly possible, there are ~60 accounts, 20 full time staff. The...
Our ISP has sent us notice that we are generating SPAM and have included headers for a couple messages. I'm having a tough time 'translating' the headers. Would someone be able to confirm these messages are originating from my server? I've replaced our actual domain with mydomain.com and my...
Hi All,
I have agreed to help out an organization I volunteer for with a wireless network. I have a fair amount of experience with 'basic' networks (single router, switches, multiple access points, etc.) but I want to put my plan out there to see if anyone sees any issues or potential...
Hi,
I'm looking to write a dynamic update statement that reads from a table which I will load through an ETL tool. I'm not too comfortable with dynamic SQL.
Here's what I'm thinking from the source table:
Table_Name, Primary_Key, Field_Name, New_ValueCustomer, 123, First_Name, Bob...
Got it
I enabled Ping on the WAN interface, which as I mentioned, allows for all.
Then I modified the rule that was created (WAN>WAN) and changed the source to only my ISP's range.
