Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am going with the Q6600 as well; it seems that xbitlabs gave a pretty fair/balanced pov of the two.
As well, in due time...Multi-threaded apps will definitely start popping up, and you will need a processor that can introduce you to them...
Until then...I don't know...The differences are...
I bet what I am about to say has been repeated about 10 times in the past 4 pages...

IMO: Nvidia's rush to release the new GTX card is basically a 'holiday' rush deal, they'll probably lower the amount of supply and keep the price at a stand-still until the very end of December (Start of...
Yeah; I am impressed by the fact that these guys pushed it that far...Although...it doesnt mean diddly-sh*t to me since it isn't oc'd and stable..24/7 or nothing imo.
Kudos to the Italians...but I would have gone with France on this one. /headbutt
As the majority said; if it isn't...
Just curious; from the new Toms hardware article that talks about the e6400 chips...Would the 6600' be the best bet for purchase for a good year-two years of use? Or should I wait it out? Or go with the 6400...and oc...?
I have looked at the benchmarks...6600 looks tops..but the 6400 seems to...

I think it is for availability, as well as shipping...Could be on a holding time.
Personally; I find this to be exciting..At the same time; a kick to the pants...Some might know what I mean..Other might not know.

This game is going to rock...In my later youth TFC came out..and my addiction really kicked in..
Must say though; Fortress Forever, as well as TF2..Both are very inventive and will probably keep people playing...It outdoes most of these new remakes and unoriginal games out...
as well..CONC...
Thats the exact confusion I had when reading from tom's forums, as well as my own confusion in regards to how the effects of physics were put into play.
One question in regards to 'physics' (generalized as a whole):
How much change/improvement is truely seen though in the games that are...
One explaination I'd like given to the Extra PPU is, how in the world will this effect gameplay to the fullest? I noticed the graphs/charts/bm's and increments of progression have been achieved...At least 2-3 fps difference, the lighting, etc.
I just want to know how in the hell can anyone...
I havent used others in a while..Since 2003 I've been using OCZ..before that was crucial and kingston...Personally..OCZ is the best. But there are of course others..So i'd say others but still looked above the rest.
Im a pretty big OCZ fan myself. I have 1.5gb of Dual Channel Platinum..Pretty decent stuff. The timing speeds stock are fantastic.
I also think Corsair is good too; XMS is some good ram..I also like the little add-on meter that goes with it (cosmetic crap is great.)

I would say go with...
The truth at its best. Its going to most likely stay PCIe; I dont see why they would already jump over to another style. Improvement wise...I dont think we will see anything for a good year or two.
