Download and burn yourself a copy of DBAN, let it do a 7 pass overwrite and sell 'em.
If someone wants to go through the trouble of recovering the data after all that, I'd let them go for it.
Doing a quick NTFS format using Disk Manager would do the trick, but if you're starting 'from scratch' you can run DBAN in quick erase mode do it pretty quickly on several drives at once.
