Bought a tmobile note 8 from a 3rd party vendor. Phone works fine however,
1. Shows outstanding balance through the online tmobile IMEI checker
2. Called tmobile to have them check and they said the IMEI is clean, phone was never activated, has no financial obligations and has no link to any...
getting high temps with prime 95. around 75-80 with i5-2500k even with after market heatsink loki sd963. I've re seated it as well and applied a new coat of paste that came with it. Any ideas?
I just installed a xigmatek loki sd963 and my prime 95 temps have been running 60-65.
set up,
i5-2500k (stock, not oc'ed yet)
gigabyte z68ma d2h-b3
16 gb 1600 ram
i feel like these temps should be lower than what im getting.
so i tried to run system repair with the w7 cd but i cant find the system repair option. on a side note: i cant seem to find my bios screen. It boots me directly into windows 7. When i insert the windows 7 cd, it wont give me options on boot up either.
ive only installed maxpayne (guilty pleasure) and sony acid pro 7 recently. i just uninstalled them but the problem still persists. i Will try to do a system repair with the w7 cd, if i can find it.
I received a BSOD today. I've restarted my computer and it's not functioning properly. I cannot click certain programs and it seems to just stay frozen. I've taken a screen capture of the bsod information. I'm not entirely sure what to do with it but i'm scouring the internet for information...
Trying to overlock the i5-2500k. Not sure what heatsink is compatible with the Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 and is easy to install. Overclocking to anything above 4.0ghz sounds good enough for me. thanks.
I have 16 gb ddr3 of 1600 ram. I ran cpu z and its telling me that each of the sticks are running at, 622mhz, 711mhz, 800mhz, 800mhz. Is that normal? My cpu (i5-2500k) core speed is 1604mhz. I know they are somehow related but is there anyway to increase the speed?
i booted from the cd into the windows installer. I deleted all partitions. Installed the new os and it created a new system reserve (which i assume contains all the boot records). I basically did what mhenley mentioned. The issue i believe, was that the mobo tried to boot from the old system...
Thank You to everyone who helped me. I'm most gracious despite being unable to follow directions haha. I'm up and running and it feels awesome to have a fast computer. Cheers!
I definitely misread that. Oops. I was just freaking out in my own little world. You guys are the best. I'll see how far this takes me haha. My first build might be a success, despite the freaking out.
ok well heres what me and my friend thinks is the problem. I think my hd has an old boot record from my old pc in the system reserve partition. What you do you think if i completely wiped the hd and do a fresh install? I'm almost certain i'll get another system reserve file with the os on it.
