I just bought one too, as it seems, from the few people that have upgraded the firmware to a version that has not yet been released, seems to have addressed most of the issues. So I am hoping by the time it gets here, that firmware will be available OTA. Either way it is a big upgrade from...
In case anyone cares they responded positively at least so I am going to give them a shot. Will be the first PC in 20 years I did not build. I did skimp on memory and SSD and just bought those separately to throw in myself as the upcharge on that was too much to bear. Should have it within 3...
Hi I am ready / eager to build a new PC. As everyone knows, the new Ryzen CPU's, AMD GPU's and NVIDIA GPU's are all out of stock everywhere unless you count scalpers.
I am not going to, under any circumstance, buy from scalpers and feed that tactic. I'd rather wait a year as much as I don't...
That's a feature not a bug. Its a warning not to waste your time playing the game.
Sorry I could not resist. You seem to have tried most of what I would suggest. Clearly not your first time troubleshooting.
Regarding steam link - I think in many cases (I am not saying all) people that had "bad" experiences with it may have underlying issues with their network set up that are not readily identifiable because they are normally not apparent.
For example for a while my network would hiccup everytime...
Sorry for late reply. Only one game for me really uses CPU to full extent (along with the rest of the chipset) Arma 3. That was the only game I saw a decent jump in performance (I kept the same video card for the upgrade in this case). The game is notoriously hard on CPU. But it is also hard...
Totally agree with this and I was in the same boat. I used to upgrade every year then every other year. I finally upgraded from an i7920 3 years ago (I didn't last 10 years like you). But I don't think the CPU really increased much performance. I think the only real difference comes from the...
I liked rage also ... except right when it really seemed like it was about to get even better... it was over. It ended so abruptly it made no sense. But up to that point I really liked it. (then again, I paid very little for it).
Why would be much different than multiplayer games currently run on servers?
That same delay is there, just your local machine shows faster results - but its smoke and mirrors (compared to the "actual results on the server) that gets resynced constantly.
Local only games would never be as good...
I would be curious to know what you do that you would need to bother to spend extra money on a hard drive for more storage. At work, in general, the work should be saved on network drives so everything is backed up sufficiently.
