That's my little secret? haha, It's organized chaos. BUT, everything fits and the side panel slides on with no effort. I'll post a pic of the back when I go through to re-apply my thermal paste some time in the next few days.
Made a few recent changes, and snapped some fast pictures with my phone. what do ya'll think of mine???
My phone does not do well with awkward lighting but it looks great IRL
where is the static coming from? Have you checked your audio connections? Could be interference of some sort, The onboard soundcard could be going. If its from the speakers, unplug them, do you still get the noise?
1: Any of the blue SATA ports should work just fine. Correct on the black port being a Marvell port. Those have known issues in terms of compatibility and drivers. stay away from it IMO.
2: Not 100% positive on ACPI ACIP( but I would say enabled) and couldn't give ya an honest answer on the...
...are you overclocking the processor? My point being..... In my experiences, Biostar has not had the most success with putting out better quality products. And it could very well be that your processor is burning up the vrms. The board is only a 4+1 phase, and I really doubt its a 4+1 of any...
the H70 is set to exhaust. And i have the rear top fan as exhaust while the top front is an intake. With my side panel fan near the GPU set as exhaust. Still playing around with airflow in this case. opinions on cable management though?
well, instead of the screen i decided to go with a piece of tinted plexi glass.
I finally had some time to work on my computer. Here is where everything stands thus far.
My Side Window Mod:
Here is the design I settled for. Its the original one I drew out. Luckily, my mother wasn't home. So...
Attaching the screen. i am currently playing around with different methods. Options are silicone adhesive, some small screws with washers on the inside like i attacked my plexi window on my old case. double sided tape of some sort maybe? Still working on the mounting.
I dont have any pets. And...
alright guys and gals. I am In the process of making a side panel window for my cm690 II Advanced. What do you think of making it out of this stuff?
its window/door screening. You can still see inside. but the view of the internal is jsut ever so slightly "blurred(?)" so it gives a...
That right there is a dust filter i took out of my old thermaltake case for under the PSU. It slid right in
between the rubber feet underneath the cm690.
i went ahead and made a few small changes.
I took out the bottom half of the HDD rack. replaced the CM R4 120mm fan in the botton front for a Xigmatech 140mm. Put the CM R4 120mm into the 5.25" drive bays as an intake and cleaned the cables in back just a little bit.
Ill post a few...
Cowboy, yes i live with my mother. and that is her china cabinet.
Dmac - I'm wanting a side window. Still deciding on a design and whether i want to go the traditonal plexi glass route or try something different and go with black window/door screening.
oh yea. it definitely was. Especially considering the fact that it is normally $100. :-D This i can say is my first official steal!
Still working on fan placement though. And I want to put a side window.
Now, what do you guys think of i did a side window out of window/door screening...
