Actually AFAIK amd is completely reworking their drivers (you can already see the effect in the W10 drivers)..i wouldn't be surprised if they release the new driver package together with the cards.

My only concern is, how can it be, Linus is like the only reviewer who states the 780 is faster than the 290, and all other review site on the world get the opposite result?
Considering aftermaket coolers drop off around 30C from gpu temp on 290(x), we can safely say that the chip is not that hot, but the cooler is a pile of......
So if it comes with the 7990 cooler there wont be any problems.

Apparently someone was shipped a non X 290.
At stock its faster than a stock 780. Also will be cheaper.

I'm waiting for the 780Ti and the 290 - 290X non ref coolers to decide.
Also the cards are pretty much in performance order in the pricing as well.
780 - $399
290 - $449
290X - $549
The one card that again nvidia try to sell as exclusive is the 780Ti for 699$...i wouldn't be surprised if the...
