Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thank you. Had never thought of this solution. I will continue my search for a dealer and if I cannot find one, will seriously consider doing your suggestion.
I am looking for a dealer who sells the Lithium Ion Battery for the Everex StepNote XT5000T.
Do not have ID number for battery.
Information will be appreciated.
Is the purpose of setting up a raid array using two identical hard drives to allow for the automatic backup of the primary drive onto the second drive?
If not, what is the purpose of setting up a raid arry using two identical hard drives?
Thank you. This morning I visited six computer repair shops in my area. None had either the fan or a connector that would fit into the motherboard socket.
I bit the bullet and hard wired the three wires from the fan to the three pins in the motherboard socket.
The computer works! I am...

You can see how small the connector is by comparing it to the openings for the screws that hold the fan to the motherboard
I cannot get the web address you list to open.
Nevertheless, the answer to your question ithe plastic object that broke was on the end of the wires leading from the fan. It is a very small 3-hole female plug that inserts into the 3-pin recepticle sitting on the motherboard.
It is much...
Sarcasm noted and I could not agree with you more!
I copied the data from the actual fan:
model is: KSB0505HA
part number is: 21-20861-10.
The model number matches up with a number of fans used by HP. But, the screw hole placements are different than the XT5000T motherboard placements...
Thank you for your reply.
I phoned Everex. They do not sell the fan to consumers. I wrote FIC and have not yet received a reply.
I will do a google search using the data on the fan.
Thanks for your suggestions.
I broke the plastic connector that leads by wire from the fan of my notebook to a receptacle on the motherboard. I want to buy either a new fan or a plastic connector into which I can insert the three wires from the fan..
My notebook is an Everex XT5000T notebook. Fujitsu also uses this fan...
Adding a higher performance processor will incrase heat in the Notebook. Each time I have upgraded processors in my desktops, I have always added a new fan. I do not know where one could do this on the XT5000T.
I have already added a second hard disk (160GB) to the system as well as...
