What doesn't it have to do with it? Its modular, there's more then one way to hook it up. There's a 4 and 8 pin cpu socket, I mistakenly connected my 4 pin pwm spliter into the 4 pin cpu socket. SOCKET not header.
Another thing possibly worth noting. My tuner card led shuts off. If it was the board, wouldn't it too stay on? I ordered a new PSU just to be sure, doesn't hurt to have an extra I guess.
I looked in security event logs and only seen system powered down, no monitor off. Then again I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for. Should I be looking in a different folder?
WOW!!!!! Newb for shore.... Haha
Yeah, so I had my psu hooked up wrong. Amazing how things work when you fallow directions.
Thanks everyone for the help, and sorry for wasting your time.
I've tried resetting bios as well as clearing CMOS. I've also tried playing with pms's both in bios and win. Obviously I can't tell if my ssd has shut down, but my optic drive still functions. I don't have a Linux Live CD.
Not sure where to post this question since Im not sure where the problem lies.

Im looking for a 37"- 42" panel that will be connected to a single GTX 670. Uses include gaming, blueray, HDTV (via pci tuner card). I understand that there's no TV that inputs a true 120hz, instead its interpolated from 60. However should I still get 120 for blueray and HDTV? Interpolation can...
