New pump for moderately restrictive loop needed

Just distilled water with PTnuke 7/16" 5/8" Tygon a couple bitspower dual 45 rotaries, but the tubing passes through two sets of silicone grommets on the 800D. Every 4-6 months for both. In an XSPC dual 355 pump-housing/reservoir 5 1/4 bay thing. I'm planning on selling this desktop after...

    Video card solution for 5760x1080?

Oh. In any case, I'd just be running the one, or two 6950s.

    Video card solution for 5760x1080?

Well, I wouldn't be running two 6990s, just one. AFAIK, crossfire doesn't scale past 2 GPUs anyway, so that'd be pointless. I probably will want to WC the card(s) soon after buying them, as most modern cards are just plain loud, so there's the benefit of paying $100 less or so for blocks. Am...

    Video card solution for 5760x1080?

That's what I'd been thinking, but the 6990 preview is tempting me to wait on the MSRP.

New pump for moderately restrictive loop needed

I'll keep that in mind should I decide to try another 355 or set of them. I'm running 3 XSPC rads, a triple and two singles in an 800D, so there's quite a bit of tubing to contend with. The dual loop configuration also made maintenance a bit easier. They ran for close to two years before...

New pump for moderately restrictive loop needed

I was running two MCP-355s, but both of those have failed since, and I'm left without a gaming machine in the meantime. The new MCP35X looks alright, but for $100 I'd like to know it's up to the task. If it fares well, I may purchase a second in the next 6 months to a year for dual loops again...

    Video card solution for 5760x1080?

I'm running two core 216 GTX 260s, but the bandwidth just isn't there for most games. While I've been fine playing at 1080p for the past few months, with AMD's HD 6990 around the corner, it's time to start thinking about an upgrade. An added benefit of the single card is that it's cheaper to...

FS: Mountain Mods Extrended U2-UFO, assorted graphics cards, WC gear

I simply don't have room for this beast of a case any more, but I'm sure someone can make use of it. It's the mirror black finish Extended U2-UFO with 3 big window panels, horizontal motherboard brace (for horizontal mounting), standard back, and duality front. Great condition, -- $350 2x evga...

AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5850 Video Card Review @ [H]

5850 CrossfireX is looking very good for 2560x1600.

AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 Video Card Review @ [H]

Sounds like a good replacement option for my GTX 260s when the time comes, as long as they can handle 2560x1600, though I'd imagine the 5870s would be better suited for that resolution. It will be an interesting read, that's for sure. Thanks for the reviews guys, and keep 'em coming!

AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 Video Card Review @ [H]

So it looks as if those of use using 30" displays will still need dual-card solutions for some games.

AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 Video Card Review @ [H]

Awesome. Though I think I'll hang on to my GTX 260s for at least this part of the generation.
