If anyone has a good link on how to set this up, that would be great. I found the setting for forcing all traffic through tunnel, but once connected, no internet access. Seems to not be sending dns and a gateway.
Hello all.
I'm trying to get my uncle set up on pfSense.
Previously, on DD-WRT, he would vpn in and would be on his home network. access all his machines on his lan. When he would browse the internet, it would show he is browsing from his homes IP address.
What type of VPN is this...
Solved my problem by throwing money at it. Ordered a 3 pack of Unifi frisbee's and 1 Unifi outdoor ap. Read nothing but good stuff about them on here and really like the central controller idea.
Hello all,
I have been playing around with some hotspot/captive portal software on my home network. At the moment I have Grase Hotspot setup on an old computer in the garage with a Engenius outdoor wireless AP connected to it.
I would like to have Grase Hotspot loaded onto my Proxmox server...
My opinion would be to go the expander route. I am running the LSI version of the M1015 and the HP expander on a Debian linux system. Raid 6 with software raid, MDADM. ZERO problems thus far. Smart data passes through to OS no problem.
Only thing I did was add a 40mm fan to the expander as it...
Yeah, that's what I've noticed too. Oh well. I guess i will just vpn into my home network when away to configure things with the VSphere client.
Thanks!
I think You will still need an expander as the M1015 only has 2 SFF-8087 connectors which will allow You to only connect up to 8 drives directly to the card. I could be wrong though.
IBM M1015, flash to "IT" mode.
HP Expander
M1015 goes for about 80 bucks on ebay
