    Just to update i formatted the Maxtor HDD because i read about the MBR perhaps being the culprit and no go... It recognizes the Maxtor HDD but doesn't let me boot up if i put the DVD drive as first boot and the HDD as 2nd with the Vista DVD inside to install... or vice versa for that matter...
