That's like 200MHz difference and I hardly noticed it but it showed on the benchmark scores. :)

I tweaked my GPU some more and boosted to 690/1100 with 19710 in 3DMark06.

That could be and there's consistent data showing that 8x8 slots are slower than 16x16 in CF.

Which MOBO has PCIe 1.1 8x8? I'll try to get it and run the test.

Here's the same setup but with Foxconn P35A which had PCIe 1.1 16x and 4x slots. You can see the difference. :) Having two PCIe 2.0 16x is much better don't you think? :)

Crossfiring two 4850's on Asus Maximus Formula overclocked E8400 4GHz. Gotta love two PCIe 2.0 16x slots. Full speed ahead!
