You simply press to enter the BIOS menu at bootup, go to advanced mode (if you aren't already), go to the Advanced tab, select Onboard Device Configuration, and then select the Marvell Storage Contoller option box and set it to disabled.
As for your boot problems - make sure that nothing is plugged into the Marvell 6G SATA ports on your board after you turn it off. Obviously OFF means off. Instead, plug them into any of the 4 3G Intel ports (light blue), or any of the 2 Intel 6G ports (white). Look at your motherboard book for information about which colors each of those ports are; but on my board the far right, DARK blue 2 ports are the Marvell ones. If the Marvell controller is off - don't plug anything into those or those devices wont work. That should get you going.
