Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Philly is about 5.5 hrs from me, unfortunately. But....I'm only about 2 hrs from their Cleveland store which might be worth the drive.
As far as overclocking, I've done it with my previous builds but, it's really not necessary. I just know I have a tendency to want a bit more. I'd be happy...
It's been a few years since I built my last PC. I'm pricing out a new build that will be used mainly for Photoshop CS6, Lightroom 4, and mild gaming. I'm currently using a 21.5" iMac with 3.06ghz c2d and I find it struggling to process my Nikon D800's 40-50mb files.
1) What will you be...
Yeah, that's very similar to what I'm experiencing, but I'm not able to OC again. I also had 450x8 to 3.6ghz and it ran great. Now all the sudden this?
Edit: I also have ds3r rev 1.0
I got my system put together recently and started to OC it. Everything was going fine, I was able to get the processor up to 3.6 GHz. I ran Orthos and Prime for 6-8hrs just to double-check everything and CPU temps never exceeded 50*C, typically around 48*C. They hover right around 22-23*C at...
Ok, stupid mistake on my part. I forgot to plug in the 4 pin 12v connector. Now the display works, but I still cannot connect my keyboard or mouse. Do I have to have a wired setup? I guess that would kind of make sense since there are no drivers installed.
I finally got time to put all of my PC components together, but I am unable to get any sort of display on my monitor. I have tried searching for this issue, but have found nothing that helps. Here is what I am working with:

Scythe Ninja Rev. B
Gigabyte P35-DS3R mobo
Evga 7950gx2...
I'm in need of some urgent help. I need to click the "Checkout" button on my newegg cart tonight, or early tomorrow morning. I am trying to put together a new PC build and I already have an Asus 7950gx2 video card. I need to know which motherboard to couple with this vga for optimal results...
So, since gaming is not my number one priority, I saved myself $90 and picked up a used 7950gx2. Do I need to change my motherboard selection in order to accommodate the 7950gx2? Are SLi capable mobo's required for this card? Here's an updated look at my newegg cart:
Thanks a lot for the fast responses. I really appreciate the help.
I am planning on running a 19" LCD. I really don't need anything bigger. I have seen a few on newegg that are right around my price range, I just can't decide on what brand to go with. This Acer seems to be a good deal...
