heya keith yes several time and to no avail. I tried older bioses and different versions of the awdflasher and still no luck. edit: also i tried to use the CD that came with it to revert back but it wont even boot as the cd drive is not detected.

Dubest thing i have done was when i got my first modchip for the Xbox, it was back when the matrix came out in 2002. I was aligning it with the xbox on and i slipped screwdriver stabbed the MB and the chip slipped i guess bridging 2 points and smoke. Dead Motherboard, Dead Modchip. No Xbox :(...

i cant seem to get it to see fdisk /mbr as a command. I used a DOS boot floppy nothing, and i tried in windows (again nothing).

Well, I built my brothers machine awhile back (3 months or so), worked fine, no problems. Here recently he turned it on and it said BOOT DISK FAILURE.. (BLAH BLAH). So we put in the XP CD to format, but while we were watching TV at the same time we missed the "press key to boot from CD" text...
