Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
he hauppauge card comes with wintv2000, which does the job pretty well and records. There are a few free programs, but to be honest...they aren't worth even installing.
For programs with excellent interactive features, try Sage TV or Snapstream Beyond TV. Meedio is the new little brother...
Well, onboard hardware such as your audio and video do use your cpu. That's why getting a sound card and video card increases functionality of your cpu (faster game loading, etc.). Your cpu's temperature isn't substantially high, so I wouldn't worry about it.
I've got the MSI NX6600GT-TDE 128mb AGP 8X. It's got the DVI, VGA, RGB, and S-Video for outputs. I'm using the S-Video on an older TV that I'd like to do is clone. Setting my preferences to clone isn't the problem. Even playing movies isn't the problem, infact they play just fine. I just can't...
Alright heres the deal. I've had this problem for quite some time, and it hasn't always been like this. My monitor's resolution is set at 1280x1024, same goes for my tv. If I take it down to 640x480, it fits onto my tv. Otherwise, I'd have to use the auto-panning crap. Is there any way I could...
I'd honestly suggest the Ultra enclosure. They've got a really good tech support forum too. Check out the installation tips on the bottom of that page, step-by-step guide. Really simple.
That particular model hasn't been released yet, but personally judging Creative on their products, I'd suggest grabbing it.
I've got the S750 and the I-Trigue 2200 hooked upto my pc, and they sound excellent. I tried the I-trigue 3400 in a retail store the other day and they sounded amazing too.
What you should be doing is using a can of compressed air to blow off the dust while your vacuum (with a hose and without any brushes) sucks dust/air in simultaneously. This way, you clean your hardware really well and nothing gets touched.
Any good suggestions? I don't wanna spend too much and I don't think I'll need a USB version since I'm plugging it into my Audigy 2 ZS Platinum. I was lookin at the 5H but it's pricey as hell, but it's soo sweat.
