OK. Guys I fixed it. Was my bad. It turned out to be a power problem. I had my hd plugged in on the same line as my video card. The card was sucking up too much power. This is why the windows desktop was fine until I had to load something. It also explains why I could surf with no problem but...
My pc started getting really slow but not all the time. It seems like it runs fine untill you try to load something. It doesn't do it every time consistantly though. I have an abit ai7 (socket 478) board. I run a 1.8 ghz intel at 2.3. Right now i'm running everything at stock speed (failsafe...
I am planning my conroe system and am waiting for an ASUS implementation of the nforce 590 chipset. I have not heard a damn thing yet. Does anyone know if ASUS is working on this?
I am preparing to build a system around the new conroe core 2 duo chip. This will be a gaming pc and I will probably do some overclocking. I'm a little confused on picking the ram because it looks like the core 2 duo bus runs at 1066. The fastest ram that I can find is made for 800 mhz bus. Does...
I like to keep my voltage boost to within 10% of stock. This is more of a personal preference and I don't beleive there is any hard and fast rule. It is my personal opinion that any chip should be able to handle a 10 percent bump with no negative impact.
I'm researching my next system. I'm planning on buying a dual core chip in july when the prices get cut. I thought I was gonna just do a socket 939 system with an asus a8n32. I plan on overclocking it as close to 3 ghz as I can get. Ive been thinking though. The am2 socket chips are not any more...
Abit ai7. My mb fan died so I just unplugged it. FSB is 128 (stock speed is 100). No issues. I would not worry about NB cooling unless you are overclocking hard.
