    I'm confused again: Windows stuff

yes you will be able to use the copy of windows but it is often advised to format - and make a clean install (sometimes errors can occur due to windows thinking its still using the old mobo) But in most cases it will run fine.

    is the 64bit OS faster?

deamon tools is one that springs to mind from memory - but when i installed it (rougly 4 months ago) i had having problems with every other program. Not sure if more developers have created 64bit versions since then though.

    is the 64bit OS faster?

I ran it but again wasnt able to install many apps due to their 64bit incompatablility. Even so I found that general windows navigation was alot quicker than the 32bit windows and everything seemed to be alot smoother (I compared both to a clean install of both 32 and 64bit)
