    Exactly. WinPE is fantastic.

    Looking for PC Repair Tools

Tried making one in a bootable environment but had an issue with booting into anything but legacy. Not saying I've given up on trying to make one, but I was looking for other options as well.

    Looking for PC Repair Tools

Need something that also runs diags. My biggest issue is when I had a bootable drive, it would only work in legacy.

    Looking for PC Repair Tools

It's not for me. I'm going to pick up this work with a company that basically contracts it out to people who are signed up in the area. It's kind of like über. Second job to help pay the bills.

    Looking for PC Repair Tools

I'm looking for a decent repair tool for computer work that I'm planning to do on the side. I need it to run diagnostics and virus removals. I'd also like it to have a few side tools for generic repairs. I've looked into: PC doctor (But it doesn't have virus removal from what I've seen). EasyRE...

    H100i water cooler and 4790k

You make some good pointers in your post and I have read about the prime95 issue as well. At this point, what I'm going to do is ask Asus about my current motherboard (Maximus 7 Hero) and if it auto overclocks even on default settings. If they say no or yes, I'm going to change my CPU cooler...

    H100i water cooler and 4790k

Before I decide to RMA a Processor I'm going to try and see if it's the cooler or the motherboard. Like I stated in a previous reply, my CPU's volts seem to be higher than normal. It could be that I have a bad CPU, but I'd rather not jump to that and have to deal with RMA until I really know...

    H100i water cooler and 4790k

This concerns me. This is the level I want to be at and I'm really not sure why It's not reaching it. I'll see about installing the stock cooler sometime later to view the results. Did you by chance need to change the voltage the motherboard had set for you or alter any other settings? I'm using...

    H100i water cooler and 4790k

I do not overclock and my system is set to default bios settings. I checked with CPUZ to see if my clock speed was going over the default numbers and everything seemed normal. My fans are already loud enough as it is. I do not think that would be the main issue as I haven't put a cap on...

    H100i water cooler and 4790k

Corsair H100i Water Cooler Intel Core i7 4790k With this cooling setup I have idle temperatures of about 33 Celsius and 55-60 Celsius while gaming. Now, while these temps are decent, I had hoped for a little better. None the less my concern comes from when I performed a Prime 95 Torture...

Intel i7 4790K running too hot?

So I decided to remount the plate differently and sure enough my temps have improved. But I'm still hitting 100 Celsius 2 min into prime 95

Intel i7 4790K running too hot?

So I Looked at my mounting base on the bottom of my mobo and I noticed that my plate was resting on those two screws you have circled. The screws are not very big though, hardly seem to cause any issues with the mounting plate besides a little distention. Could that be my culprit?

Intel i7 4790K running too hot?

I have the Asus Maximus VII Hero board and it seems it does like to overclock itself but it doesn't give a clear cut way to bring the system to stock.
