Own all 3 here.
360 is the hands down winner if you want to play games. Better exclusives in a variety of genres (IMHO). It also has XBL Arcade which has a ton of high quality, cheap games.
PS3 has good quality games, but just not as many as the 360 at the moment.
You really just need...
Assassin's Creed is good if you don't worry about doing all of the little side quests. Just do the bare minimum to unlock each assassination and you'll probably enjoy it a lot. The main game isn't tedious at all just the excess side missions which are repetitive.
My biggest complaint is the fact that the PS3 does not come with a cable capable of showing high definition. This is annoying considering how much blu-ray is touted.
All told, buy all 3 eventually. I own all 3, and my 360 gets the most play time, but that's because it's had great games for...
I love MS points. I've rarely paid full price for them. I've gotten 3 1600 pts. cards for free. I've bought a couple for buy 1 get one 1/2 price too. Waiting for Sony to discount/have sales is a lot longer than finding random deals through any retailer.
Specs definitely match the Seagate. However, on the main Seagate page it says 8mb cahce, but on the tech specs page it says 16mb cache. Which is it? All the pages for Dell say 16mb cache.
I may be tempted to jump for this for my PS3.
What's the point of a screen saver with an LCD? Screen savers were used to prevent burn-in on CRTs. LCDs don't suffer burn-in.
Other than decoration there's no need for one.
Will the Hanns maintain aspect ratio when display the 360? I hate when things are stretched out of aspect ratio.
I'm looking to upgrade from a Dell 2001fp, and right now this seems to be at the top of my list since the Dell 2407-HC has ghosting issues.
I'm considering ordering a refurbished Macbook for my wife who is a high school teacher. She mostly needs internet, office apps. (word and powerpoint), and maybe dabbling in creating videos etc. Apple has a few refurbs, but I would want to put in more memory.
How hard is it to upgrade the...
Plasma makes for a better TV/MOVIE/GAMING display. LCD is better for PC use. As far as resolution, unless you're sitting within 8' of the display, you won't notice a difference.
Has anybody hooked this up to an Xbox 360 with the vga cable? I've been looking to pick up a widescreen monitor for 360 gaming. I currently have a 2001fp that I've been using when my wife is watching TV. Any color issues with the 360? I know the 360 has been fixed, but are you able to adjust...
