sup guys ...

I figured since everyone here cares so much about their display that it would be the best place to ask this question.

Do any of you know where to get a good screensaver? flash or splash or anything like that? something that looks nice on 1920x1200?

cool, i might get one of these. What size monitor do you have?

Im looking more for some flash/splash type, it doesnt have to be but something that looks nice and crystal clear on a 1920x1200 screen.

Anyone?

still havent found what im looking for ...

maybe it doesnt exist?

thanks to everyone who contributed so far, those are nice screen savers.

I have my screen turn off after 5 min. Having your pc run a screen saver will burn out the back light quicker. I had a 2005wfp for about 2 years and then the usb ports died so I got a new monitor sent to me. The new 2005wfp was considerable brighter than my old one because the back light was brand new and didn't have a bunch of hours on it.

Having your screen turn off prevents burn in and saves lamp life. May not be what your looking for but since you brought up the "care about your screen" point.

What's the point of a screen saver with an LCD? Screen savers were used to prevent burn-in on CRTs. LCDs don't suffer burn-in.

Other than decoration there's no need for one.

Actually thats not true they suffer from burn in but it is reversible by changing the screens color really fast, also called image persistence.

And not to mention, turning off your monitor saves you money on electricity. Oh yeah good for the environment. :D
