Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I tried it on my other rig and it does the same thing with a 9060XT, monitor won't resume from sleep about half the time. I went back to the previous one and it was fine.
I’ve had this screen for almost exactly 2 years, and it’s starting to burn in within minutes rather than weeks. Like if I leave it on the desktop for the 5 minutes it takes to go into power save I can see the wallpaper burned in on dark...
Thanks! Updated my mistake. Wrote most of it late last night before bed.
Yeah, a lot of influences just come from hype. I already know the arguments. RTX 3070 8GB? Too low VRAM. i5-13600K? Degradation. "Just get a 5800X3D (~$350) and RX 9060 XT...
Nice write-up, 5070/5060 Ti prices have gone crazy over night. 5060 Ti 16 GB for 850! The member I sold mine to last week got a hell of a deal lol. 5070s are upto 750, glad I have the acer 14700/5070 incoming.
Nah, if you don't buy the 9850X3D and a 5090 you're a chump lol
Like right now, I got sick of AMD 26.7.1 locking up my monitor so I pulled my 9070XT and put my B580 in... oh no I went from 240fps to 200.
I will be updating this as time goes by. I get to go through various systems, while I don't get to keep them, sometimes I get to play with them for a while. It will also cover CPU's, iGPU's, and memory, since graphics cards are always paired with...
You got your Nvidia GPUs listed as Intel, fyi. I've run just as much stuff as you have and came to the conclusion that too many people focus more on fps charts and graphs than just playing the game they want to play.
I did not post some comprehensive review, it was an example. I know we're not allowed to say anything negative about our Nvidia overlords but I'm not the first person to have noticed this by a long shot.
No dude, CPU limitation is NOT the problem to begin with. Thats the whole point. I don't know why you're hung up on it, you can clearly see that the first time I load with 610.88 the performance is comparable to the old driver, but the second...
IDK how to get "less" CPU limited with a tuned 9800X3D at 5K2K, you can figure that out for me. Its clearly a bug, but performance on 40 series has regressed by a decent amount as the drivers go on.
1440p max with no RT, and it remains the same at 4K. The reason I noticed it is I normally play at 5K and the frame loss is VERY noticeable when you rely on frame gen.
I think what I'm seeing is a bug of some kind, although 40 series performance has dropped off badly since the 50 series launch regardless, likely purposeful to make people buy new cards so Jensen can get a new jacket.
Check this out, I tried...
Performance on 40 series just keeps dropping. On Cyberpunk 2077 my average FPS is down 19% since 566.36. At this point the 4090 is barely faster than the 9070XT. I know the card hasn't actually lost performance because I have many of the old...
I have no idea. I was planning to flush it and fill it with some primochill coolant I had but I broke one of the copper strands that run the motor so I just tossed it.
Its beyond the original warranty, and tbh it was a MASSIVE hassle to get it...
