Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
But almost 10c off seems quite alot, i wonder if load temps are also affected by this and are showing 72c when they should be 80c?
Don't know if return to store...
Heya, i recently build my new skylake system and while everything seems to be working fine, there is something weird with idle temp:
With an ambient temp of around 24-25c, it is impossible to have the cores running below that and even less with an air cooling, as thats what i use, noctua...
Yes, i only have SSD on my system, thats why i want to have it disabled.
So if i disable disk defrag after setting over provisioning, will it work fine?
Because once it's off, magician says "service disk defragmenter is disabled. enable it and try again", i guess this just means i have to turn...
Recently bought an evo 840 500gb and in order to enable over provisioning, magician is asking to turn on disk defragmenter...
I was always told that ssd do not need it and that also may shorten its life... so what's up with this? will i be safe with it turned on?
Well, not unsatisfied, but i find i had to lower some settings on the latest games in order to get a decent framerate.
Watch dogs, batman, wow, thief.... And any that may come! GTA V
Yes, oc at 4.6.
Considering that, what performance % will i see if i finally upgrade?
@ 1080p, it's worth getting the new GTX970? what is the average performance increase i may expect to see?
Also, while i don't believe so, will the 2600k bottleneck?
Thanks.
Nah, already changed ports, even disconnected everything, an as i said my other pc on sig works fine on the same switch.
Older an latest drivers same result.
Just finished a clean install of win7 sp1 and as i expected, 100mbps...
Tplink SG1005D switch, fairly new... Pc on my sig is connected to it and works correctly at GB.
Yeah, did that too, they are cat5e and cat6... As i mention above, my other pc, located right to this one, works fine... Though its on windows 7...
Dont know what more to do...
Hello, having trouble getting this to work at gigabit speed:
http://www.asus.com/Eee/EeeBox_PC/EeeBox_PC_B202/
So far, i tryed another cable, disconnecting everything from the switch (this one is gigabit ofc), forcing to do 1gb in card properties, but no way, it always stay at 100mbps...
Does anyone know if the Noctua NH-D14 fits in this case?
Specs:
Height (without fan) 160 mm
Width (without fan) 140 mm
Depth (without fan) 130 mm
Height (with fan) 160 mm
Width (with fan) 140 mm
Depth (with fan) 158 mm
I had this case for about two days before i ended up returning to store.
While it looks nice and it's easy to work with, the noise generated, even with the fan kit fix installed, for me, was insane.
At least, if it had improved temps over my current case, an antec p183... but not even...
I like alot more the look of 650D, but i'm worried about how efficient is it at cooling?
Differences i can see with HAF-X is that it's abit smaller, no window fan, and top can only hold one 200mm fan instead of the two 200mm haf can fit...
