@ 1080p, it's worth getting the new GTX970? what is the average performance increase i may expect to see?

Also, while i don't believe so, will the 2600k bottleneck?

Thanks.

Are you unsatisfied with framerates on your 670?

What games do you play?

The 2600k should be fine in most cases. Is it overclocked?

Well, not unsatisfied, but i find i had to lower some settings on the latest games in order to get a decent framerate.

Watch dogs, batman, wow, thief.... And any that may come! GTA V

Yes, oc at 4.6.

Considering that, what performance % will i see if i finally upgrade?

Your 2600k should be great @ 4.6.

I'd say you should expect 50% improvement, maybe more depending on the game.

A 970 should be almost twice as fast as your 670 at stock, and I hear they overclock very well to boot.

I'm waiting for the [H] review, but the 670 is starting to show it's age in 1440p. I bought my current card based on the rave review it received here, so now to see what Brent & Kyle serve up this time. The 970, from what I've read elsewhere, is going to be my next card for sure.
