Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This is a weird problem, I found similar issues when I first installed, but out of some fluke, it worked. I started getting weird distortions with bf2 when playing, so Ifigure reinstalling the drivers would fix it. Big bad mistake. Once again, I can't install the drivers, and that fluke isn't...
Well, I figured there was something wrong with my PC, and now I'm sure tehre is. The CPU seems to be running hotter than it hsould be (I'm just waiting it burns out it seems right now) My 3dmark scores are... well, horrid to start with . My BF2 has been running like crap, there are a couple of...
Well, if I were to get a set with a mic not attached, is there an alternative outside of a desk mic (those just don't work at all for me.... the ones I used to use ended up on the floor more often than where it should have been) I could use? I used to have a 5 dollar headset hanging off my neck...
Well, this thing is waaay over killed in discussion, but no harm in discussing it some more.
My edimensional gaming headset needs to be replaced, it's giving weird static and crackles at high voulmes, and it's starting to get on my nerves. I love the rumble, but it's starting to die, I can...
Yet another update apparently, speedfan, mbm, and asus probe are ALL giving me incorrect temperature readings. The only one that is giving the correct one is the bios. That idles at 45c sitting around on the bios. God knows where it goes while sitting in windows.
I'm sure it's accurate with the case closed, I'm just doubting the fan probes accuracy with the case off. Right now, it's giving me 15 c, but the CPU is DEFINATELY running hotter than 15c.I originally though it was cool;n quiet, but now it's kidna ridiculous
There is like an uncovered whole...
Just an update. I took the case lid off, it says it's running at 23, but the cpu is warm to the touch, like 44c warm. So I'm not particularily trusting the probe right now. I ran a double prime95 on it with the case off, I dinged 64 according to the thing in less than 20 minutes. I didnt' let it...
Well, after 3 weeks, it really seems like curing the artic silver had absolutely NO effect on temperatures. I sent the CPU on 2 instances of prime 95, shut it off for about 8 hours, worked on the PC, and then did it all over again for about 2 weeks straight. No effect at all.
The only thing...
well, I'm a bit too scared to touch my voltages, what I think I may do it just run two instances of prime 95 when ever I'm not at the PC, because I do actually need to use the PC, I'm not in desperate time to cure the darn thing...
No, no, I meant in the syringe :) I only used the amount of AS5 for the HS I was told to use in the installation instructions. I even pulled out a bb to make sure :)
Yep, managed to get it all off with rubbing alcohol, hopefully, this should improve things. The heatsink seemed to pop up a bit when I put it back in, when I was trying to put the brackets in place. Not sure if it introduced in any air bubbles, but I'm not too sure if I should just redo it...
I just installed a 4200 today, and the temperatures after a full 3 or 4 hours of installing drivers, rebooting non stop is giving me around 52 degrees celcius. I used arctic silver 5, but there was this crap on the top of the heat sink, I wasn't sure what it was, so I didn't remove it. But the...
I've read some good things about Ennermax, and I'm quite secure on the brand and quality. I'm kidna sad that antec slid, my 350w psu that came with my LANBoy case has never given me a single issue. I'm just worried with my two optical drives and my two hard drives will throw my PSU over and give...
