    Xonar D2X on P5N32-E SLI

Thank you for pointing that out. They both look similar and it seems the true 1x slot was being covered by a video card. Well, now that that is out of the way, can you suggest any alternatives? Any good external soundcards?

    Xonar D2X on P5N32-E SLI

An inch to one and one-eighths. It's tall, so if it is in the way, you won't be able to get by. The thing is, I held a card up and, though it was a normal PCI, it looks like it might fit, but the back of the PCB would probably be flush with the heatsink. Heat isn't an issue, I don't want to...

    Xonar D2X on P5N32-E SLI

If you trace an imaginary line along the slot, it appears that it will be held flush against the heat sink. http://www.pctuning.cz/ilustrace3/obrmaier/desky1/Asus_Big.jpg There is a link to a rather large image of my motherboard. You can see what I am talking about there... If anyone an help...

    Xonar D2X on P5N32-E SLI

Basically, will it fit? ASUS decided to put a three-story tall heatsink about an inch from the PCI-E 1x slot. Has anyone had success getting this to work out? I placed spare card I had against the slot to check and it appears that the back of the card might touch the heatsink (or possibly not...

    Pump positioning

Does the pump need to be at the bottom, below everything else so that the cooling liquid flows down to it via gravity? Or can I set it above and the pump will suck the water in? MCP355 is the pump.

    T-line or reservoir?

I personally am using a fillport reservoir that connects to a t-line. It is secured at the top of the case, so transporting it around isn't a problem.

    T-line or reservoir?

Depends on what you want. T-lines provide a better flow-rate, even if it is only slight. They take up less room and are safer to transport in case you go to lan parties, etc. Reservoirs are good for dealing with evaporation as you don't have to refill as often, if you even experience problems...

Danger Den Custom for 775 and 680i

Because I have read numerous reports of the Apogee leaking and I don't want to have to deal with it. Yes, there are ways to fix it, but if I need to I will upgrade later. The TDX should be fine for now.

Danger Den Custom for 775 and 680i

So am I missing anything to this setup or would what I have listed be everything I need to watercool my C2D? Also, with the Fluid XP, do I need to add water to it or do you just use that product?

    Lapping C2D and Tuniq 120

Here is a good example - http://www.thetechrepository.com/showthread.php?t=71 Basically you use varying grits of sandpaper to achieve a flat and smooth contact surface for better thermal conduction and lower temperatures.

    Lapping C2D and Tuniq 120

I usually go to Walmart and their eye wear department to pick up some of their lens cloths. I've used it on all of my dealings with CPUs and GPUs.
