    Update 3 I may have found the problem the molex from the dish receiver on this drive has 4 wires , my newer PS on my PC has 5 wires I will change out the molex's to 4 wires and see if that fixes it . because it works great till I hook it to my PS on my PC.

    Update! I installed the drive back in the dish dvr receiver and it powered up, then I swapped the sata cable to one plugged into my MB and everything worked great.
