Update 3 I may have found the problem the molex from the dish receiver on this drive has 4 wires , my newer PS on my PC has 5 wires I will change out the molex's to 4 wires and see if that fixes it . because it works great till I hook it to my PS on my PC.

Update 2 I have found that the sleep command needs to be changed to never sleep, anyone kno where I would find these setting? Or a program that would be able to change the sleep command? Thanks.

Update! I installed the drive back in the dish dvr receiver and it powered up, then I swapped the sata cable to one plugged into my MB and everything worked great. I was able to access it from windows, so I went ahead and formated it. I was able to drag-n-drop files to it, so now I have a big...

ctrl alt del works, but it says incompatible drive.

Thanks , When I connect it to my PC it hangs on post I cant get into windows , and yes its a sata2 drive no jumpers . the bios see's the drive it then hangs up
