Got the new 500DDR in this am left all settings at auto, it posted but at the windows screen started getting odd characters and did not finish. This did not surprise me but was a good test. rebooted changed my ddr voltage from auto to 2.80, rebooted posted and windows fine. ran 3dmark it...

I was happy with my EVGA SC card.... now that I have a tool to look at it, the supposedly 576 was 567 and my Memory speed was 850, not sure what that was "supposed" to be seeing they just say 1600 retaliative or the likes. But, I after a bit with the tool I was able to bump it too 600...

Shmuckety, Thank you. I was able to run the ATI tool with zero issues. I also like you can minimize it and it shows the card temp in the task bar. It is funny the ATI tool works, but the Nvidia one or Ntune would not lol. Your Da Man. :D

It does not show the 8800 series being supported, but I will give it a shot. Tnks :)

Any more ideas or what to try. Will coolbits show me temps and OC options on the 8800?

Samsung 226BW will be my choice in a few weeks. Everyone I know that has it loves it.

I did, Ntune locks it up just as quick and hard(same download) I removed it cleaned the reg rebooted and tried again. Then later downloaded it from a different place, when the smoke cleared all the same results.

I am wanting 2.8 to 3.0 I know I can just change my multi to 14 to get to 2.8, then if I get my buss to match the new mem...... Like I said, I have never OC via the bios the "correct" way but know this rig is quite capable. Any info would be highly appreciated. :)
