I have a question if my current config with PCI-E 2.0 will be a problem with 4K VR

Yeah. I made a mistake and looked up the corsair instead of asus for intel

I have a question if my current config with PCI-E 2.0 will be a problem with 4K VR

Thanks for clearing it up. I thought had 2.0 but apparently rampage formula iv has 3.0x16 Must have looked at the wrong MB when checking it up on internet before posting. Thanks. for the info friends :) Still a cpu upgrade would not hurt. But at 4k res it would probably not matter since the...

I have a question if my current config with PCI-E 2.0 will be a problem with 4K VR

The thing is. My 4930k at 4.5 ghz has far from bottlenecked me with my current 1080ti. And when you go at 4k the videocard is the limiting factor. Read a test at techpowerup that pcie 2x16 is not directly bottlenecking 2080ti. Maybe a couple of %. So maybe I'll be somwhat fine i thought. Thanks...

I have a question if my current config with PCI-E 2.0 will be a problem with 4K VR

Hi, I have a quite old system from 2014. Asus Formula IV MB with PCI-E 2.0x16. I am wondering if it will cause performance loss when connecting a Reverb G2 headset that runs native 2160P. I am planning to get the new 3080 series when they arrive. Is my old PCI-E 2.0 gonna be an issue? Thanks,

In my games if I drop below 120fps when set at 120hz and BFI i get noticable stutter and not perfect movements. Have not tried to lock 60fps though. Maybe its a difference?

I get zero tearing V-sync on. I have an old 1080TI and I would say with some adjustments it can run many games at 120fps(1080p). No need for Gsync when BFI results with 120hz are perfect motion. Waiting for the 3080TI :) Regarding lag, its quite easy to test with just moving mouse in windows...

120hz BFI(trumotion) is in my opinion the major factor with the CX. I have my 48CX setup with 120hz max BFI and its glorious. 80 backlight and contrast. 50 Brightness and 55 color and 10 sharpness. All other picture improvement option off. And of course the HDMI input set to PC for decreased...

Trumotion can be set in game mode. Its user and then you can set from low to high. Gsync must apparently be disabled

SoCali already tiped me about changing the icon to PC. Sorry for basically making a new post about that. I did not understand that i needed to change the icon and not only naming the label to PC. So all credit goes to SoCali in the first place :) Just want to add. Set trumotion to high in game...

Tip: Change HDMI input too PC to drastically reduce ASBL (CX48 in my case) Almost no auto dimming /brightness anymore.

Hi, Does anyone have this problem in games? Video taken with phone shows the auto brightness feature which is extremely bothering in my opinion. IT looks exactly as seen in the clip even if phone compensates the overall light in the room. Maybe its game related but its quite evident in google...

Yeah, in game mode the tru motion settings presets are not available. Turning off tru motion in standard mode results in same motion blur as in game mode. So why cant tru motion be used in game mode? Because it increases response time?

I have gone through all settings in another issue and i really think i saw something that has to do with abl. Think its was in eco settings or powersavings section. Gonna check again

Its ok :) Tried resetting the whole thing to factory. And disabled everything that has nothing to do with pc hdmi input. Still 60hz from ps4 and pc is a huge let down compared to 120hz. Guess its native 120 tech does something when downgrading to 60 hz that makes input lag and ghosting bad...
