Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a OWC Thunderbolt Dock. I would like to use a USBc to Displayport cable to drive a second monitor. Does anyone know if this is possible? A cable like this. The source laptop that is plugged into the (first) USB port on the dock does support Display port Alt Mode if it matters.
no swipe needed. now just batch processing. so we'll accept about 200 credit card orders (purchases) per day, then at night will batch charge those days cards/purchases. I'm hoping this might help lower the transaction cost because real time processing is not needed. line of business is just...
I'm looking for recommendations on the most reliable credit card processor out there. Preferably in North America but world wide is fine too. anyone have any ideas? had to handle accepting real time credit card transactions from the US.
If I setup a typical DHCP server on the 192.168.1.x subnet it would work for all machines correct? And ICMP/ping would work too correct? I'm assuming any IP traffic/service would work as usual and as if it was a local subnet still, just a little slower at times.
I wasn't aware of the Community edition. Cool.
There is not confirmed application yet, just theory and some random thoughts I had. But even if a single subnet (192.168.1.x) was spread across a large distance how much extra traffic does that actually generate? Just ARP discovery packets and...
Is it possible to create a distributed private network over the internet using Linux? For example you have your typical home router connected to the internet and your devices get private IP's of 192.168.1.x via NAT. Now I simply want the same 192.168.1.x network to also be on the other side of...
In a stock Windows 7 or 8 installation, if someone copies a file to a USB memory stick is that tracked or logged internally in some secret part of Windows not many people know about? I realize if a file was copied with the Windows File Explorer it might log the path/file as a MRU item...
Anyone know if its possible to manually download and install Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 in an effort to upgrade it to the latest version? Or do I have to use Windows Update or something?
I have a pure CSS tooltip that works well. I just can't figure out how to manually close it with jQuery. I can hide it but it disappears and won't come back.
jQuery Simple Example - JSFiddle
Mouse over the tooltip and click "close".
Anyone know if this can be closed via a link? I've tried all...
Do you know if these things are cross compatible? My laptop says it has DisplayPort 1.2, but the one adapter there specifically says DisplayPort 1.1a. Does that matter?
