And on the bottom right is another HUD thing that is out of view on 16:9 but not on 21:9. It is supposed to swipe in from the side.

Based on my calculation above, at least the numbers shown on displaywars are correct.
No bought it on computeruniverse. It finally got shipped today, but I didn't get a tracking number (yet).
They don't draw an image of the monitor resolution. Instead it is a drawing of th physical display area. Physical area and resolution can differ.
If you divide 31,25inch by 13,39 inch (the display dimensions calculated for the 34"21:9 model by displaywars.com) you get...

Today my 34UM65 shipped (the 95 is too expensive and too much pixel for my GTX470). I think it will be a nice upgrade from my 22" 1680x1050 monitor.
Could you do another one with 1680x1050, 1920x1080 and 2560x1080 in it?
Then I can better see, what I can expect when switching from my current 22"monitor to the 34Um65 model.
