See what can happen.
In Saints Row 3 for example on the top left there is HUD box left over (that gray thing).
And on the bottom right is another HUD thing that is out of view on 16:9 but not on 21:9. It is supposed to swipe in from the side.
On page 7 and 8 you can see the different reaction times (and overdrive settings) for the34Um95

You may need Google translate.
They also have a test of the the UC97...
Oh yeah, I just saw, that they stopped making English reviews in 2011.

Did we already have the linustechtip review in this thread?
I can't remember.

Based on my calculation above, at least the numbers shown on displaywars are correct.
No bought it on computeruniverse. It finally got shipped today, but I didn't get a tracking number (yet).
They don't draw an image of the monitor resolution. Instead it is a drawing of th physical display area. Physical area and resolution can differ.
If you divide 31,25inch by 13,39 inch (the display dimensions calculated for the 34"21:9 model by displaywars.com) you get...
Thx,
I think FSX will be awesome on it.
Today my 34UM65 shipped (the 95 is too expensive and too much pixel for my GTX470). I think it will be a nice upgrade from my 22" 1680x1050 monitor.
Could you do another one with 1680x1050, 1920x1080 and 2560x1080 in it?
Then I can better see, what I can expect when switching from my current 22"monitor to the 34Um65 model.
I'm interested in the OC of the 34UM95 model too.
A user in the German hardwareluxx forum already posted, that the UM65 version has frame drops above 70hz.
So i"m eager to see how the UM95 compares.
Now it is about 560€, but it was already available for 545€ and I got it for 516€ (but the shop where I bought likes to adjust the price intra-day).
https://geizhals.de/lg-electronics-34um65-p-a1049832.html
As you can see, other mentioned monitors cost from 480 to 680€...
The 34UM65 costs about the same or slightly less than a 1440P 27" Monitor from Asus, BenQ, Dell, NEC, Philips, etc. in Europe. As AgentQ mentioned the "Korean monitor thing has distorted people's price expectations"
You don't have to use the Windows 7 window arrangement shurtcuts. LG provides a software for arranging windows on the monitor ( 4 screen split). http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-34UM65-P/
Additionally you could use virtual desktop software like Dexpot.
A user already got his 34UM65...
Thanks for the heads up. I knew it already, but I don't think that it is a problem for me. Currently I use a 22" Monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050. Which, dpi-wise is between the 34um65 and 34um95.
Furthermore the 34um95 is too expensive for me and I doubt that my GTX470 will handle the...
Damn, a web shop had a good offer. I bought the 34um65 for 516€ incl. 19% VAT (712$) (other shops are at 570€)
Or without VAT that would be 433€ (598$)
The U3014 on Dell's site is still expensive.
You can get it for 1050€ incl. 19% VAT in Germany
http://geizhals.at/de/dell-ultrasharp-u3014-a911737.html
Dell wants 1500€ for it http://configure2.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=de&cs=dedhs1&kc=305&l=de&oc=U3014&s=dhs&sbc=dell-u3014
That happens for me too in the German Asus website.
The column for the Pro is empty.
As far as I can see, the non Pro is missing the 2 extra SATA connectors.
Do you want to have only audio on the tv?
Of course you can attach the 2 monitors to the 560ti
I don't know if the TV has a toslink optical digital input jack, but you can use an y-cable from 3,5mm to stereo RCA/cinch to connect to the video input of the tv (yellow, red, withe)
Hm, I just thought, that if the settings in the bios don't match the connector type, that resuts in wrong jack detection.
I own a p8Z68-v pro I can try the detection for you.
EDIT: as soon as I plug in the headphones to the front audio out, it pop up the box to select the source. then I hit...
Try to pull the vga card out.
Boot with iGPU to windows. Uninstall the intel grahpics driver.
Insert the vga card.
Go to the bios in switch to pcie
Restart.
Boot up windows.
Hi,
in the UEFI Bios you can set an administrator password for locking the Bios. And a User Password for locking Bios and preventing unauthorized boot up.
How can you combine this with pre-boot authentication like it is possible with Upek Eikon's fingerprint reader?
There is the user guide...
