Have you checked the CPU/Heatsink? It's a fairly common mistake to leave the cover on the heatsink over the adhesive (if it's stock)...

You do realize that 'burn in' occurs in more than just LCDs, right? I believe the only display it doesn't occur on are front projection displays.
