Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It is strange that I have to post this. I have always had good experiences with WD drives, but now I think I might be encountering my first failure. The drive is primarily used in a 2006 Intel iMac (so maybe this is heat related?) and formatted HFS+ until it could barely run fast enough to boot...
Would downmixing a 5.1 soundtrack to 2.1 be worse than just going with the game's 2.0 soundtrack? I feel like downmixing might alter the way that the audio was meant to be heard.

I am going to build a desktop audio setup. I have decided on a pair of Micca MB42X bookshelf speakers and a passive subwoofer. My rig has an Asus P8Z77V LK motherboard, which has on-board Realtek ALC892.
My confusion lies within the decision of whether or not to purchase an external DAC...
I'm having trouble deciphering which temp reading is the CPU's? I did some torture testing recently and I'm quite confused. Asus's CPU temps seem to be reported as a lot lower than other programs' reporting...
Low load:
Great to know I helped someone. I don't know how HDMI flags work, but its probably Dell's fault. I actually appreciate my S2440L and would recommend it to anyone who works in a dark environment and doesn't mind overdrive.
Got my S2440L from Amazon today. A few criticisms in short:
Reflections don't bother me, yet. But the actual display is set pretty far back from the cover glass.
I do not know who to blame, but it is absolutely idiotic. Apparently my Intel drivers classify this thing as a "TV" over HDMI so I'm...
