Best 7.1ch HDMI receiver under $350

Hi All, Lookin for a 7.1ch receiver. I need HDMI cross-conversion (taking all analog and digital signals, combining the signals into a single HDMI stream, and outputting sound and video through the HDMI output). Any suggestions? -jkpq45

    Full-motion, tilting/articulating wallmount for Large Flat-Panels

I'm honestly wondering if it can be secured to a brick wall--my plan is above my fireplace with tap/cons epoxied into the mortar between the bricks. I want it to swing out of the way for when I build a fire and don't wan tmy LCD smoky. But staying on topic, I'll head to costco in-store and...

    Full-motion, tilting/articulating wallmount for Large Flat-Panels

http://www.mountsdirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=724 Not too bad--can't seem to find a better price (except on monoprice, which is perpetually OOS for these types of mounts). Looks like it's got a wide range of connection options and some decent weight capacity. Not a bad...

    Where to find comparable mount?

OK, so no one's had to mount a larger LCD like this before? Or am I asking in the wrong forum?

    Where to find comparable mount?

I wasn't being clear. I've got a 47" LCD that weighs 70-ish pounds. I need a wall mount that will tilt/swivel and extend out from the wall a minimum of 8-10 inches. Any ideas?

    Where to find comparable mount?

Hi all, I like this mount on monoprice: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082806&p_id=4563&seq=1&format=2 But it's been out of stock forever. Anyone know of a good replacement for similar cost? The only others I can find are $400. Thanks, jkpq45

    42" Westy TX-42F430S 1080p set (refurb) $855 shipped (eCost)

Wh, I posted the 47" Westy from ECost a couple weeks ago (it was $1060 shipped to my door). Sorry for the lukewarm welcome, it's a lot kinder than the one I received though. The 47" looks good despite the naysayers....

Does all of this cool stuff exist in a piece of HT equipment?

I don't know much about the harmony remotes. I've used the ATI Remote Wonder before, that was pretty slick--worked with the 9800 AIW I have, but it's kinda buggy. I was watercooled, but it was a performance setup--not a noise-conscious one. Besides, regardless of how quiet it is, my case is...

Does all of this cool stuff exist in a piece of HT equipment?

What more do you need from me? Requirements: Ability to capture an incoming AV stream--perhaps store on internal media. Ability to output/upscale to 1080p. Ability to talk to a network (yes, hardwired gigabit is preferred, but 10Mb will do. Wireless is acceptable but not as good...

Does all of this cool stuff exist in a piece of HT equipment?

Bump, still doubting the PS3 can, say. "map" a hard drive from a networked computer.

A PS3 will play network movies from my computer?

Does all of this cool stuff exist in a piece of HT equipment?

Currently have an HTPC, but it's huge--wanting to consolidate for not many dollars. Thinking about just an upconverting DVD player, but here's all the stuff it's got to do. Does anyone know of anything that has all this? -1080p upconversion -usb input -ethernet (RJ45) input so I can...

    [Warm] Vizio 37" LCD $696 @ Walmart!

I had heard that--but it shouldn't matter if I'm returning the item for technical malfunction (as in my case) should it? Is there really a time limit on that? I only purchased the monitor less than 4 months ago.

    [Warm] Vizio 37" LCD $696 @ Walmart!

Ath, costco still has their no questions asked "lifetime" return policy, right? I'm probably going to trade in my 22" that's been acting quirky for a 1080p display.

*HOT* Windows Longhorn Server 2007 Beta Free

If you actually have a 1600Kbps connection, your maximum transfer is 1600/8=200KBps=0.2MBps. There's no way you could have gotten 1.5MBps (that would equate to 12000Kbps.) You've got your bits (b) and bytes (B) all bunched up. -jkpq45
