They are trying to same money with a thinner PCB and TIM. Their thinking is you want solder go socket 2011-3 or AMD. With a stagnate AMD this is what you get unfortunately.
I just got a MSI 970 I am thinking of water cooling the card(s) If I do this will I lose a warrenty from MSI. I have a pair of 570's from MSI already water cooled I bought the cards cheap with out a warrenty 2 yeard ago.
