They are trying to same money with a thinner PCB and TIM. Their thinking is you want solder go socket 2011-3 or AMD. With a stagnate AMD this is what you get unfortunately.

It does not have quick sync so I wont be buying it. Quick sync plows threw video editing it's really fast.

How far are we away from seeing DDR4 on mainstream chipsets non extreme parts.
