Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I bought an accelero from directron.com a few months back. Although they are also sold out of s1 rev 2 they are supposed to have them back in stock on 1/30/08, which is almost two weeks sooner than when newegg is expecting more.
I have two monitors plugged into one Windows XP PC (in sig). I also have two sound cards on this pc with 2 sets of speakers, (motherboard sound plugged into a 15" LCD w/ integrated speakers, and a PCI Sound Blaster Audigy 2 plugged into my headphones) .

Since there is no software (besides development tools) requiring dx 10.1 and no hardware supporting dx 10.1, why should we care about dx 10.1? We shouldn't.
Moore's law states that there will always be better and faster hardware available in the future. Likewise, Microsoft will continue to...
Try a better heatsink, your cpu might be getting too hot. Even then, it's just luck of the draw. The only thing guaranteed on your e6600 is 2.4GHz, anything faster is just a bonus. There are no guarantees when it comes to overclocking.
G35 probably won't be out until 2008. As far as I can tell, only difference from g33 is that g35 has a dx10 graphics chip. Most g35 boards will probably be DDR3 standard too. Since you already got a dx10 gpu, might as well go for the g33. Since Gigabyte seems to be faltering on it's support...
Thanks for reply, I did try ccc, but then I learned about another app called ATI tray tools which had most of same features and then some. I was also able to adjust fan speed, monitor temperatres, custom game profiles, etc with ATT, highly recommend it!
Yeah except that the new expansion hasn't been released so its pretty useless to speculate as to what the new system requirements will be. Suppose he does a complete system overhaul, and it is still not enough to run the new expansion? Then he would have to upgrade again, wasting even more...
Well, it seems like of the people here who have actually played wow, you'll notice how we all recommended upgrading the video card, but no one has suggested a CPU upgrade. If the OP is using that machine and getting those framerates, it is because his graphics card is the bottleneck.
Non-gamer's will still want a graphics card that supports HDCP to support to watch high definition movies.
There is a thread stickied at top of this forum that lists of HDCP capable cards. If you're not going to game, just find something with directx 10 support and hdcp support. The EVGA 8600...
Well, you should just concede because it isn't going to happen. You can deceive someone into thinking you have an x1950xtx by calling it such, but at the end of the day, its still physically an x1900xtx. It's kind of like if I were to put my picture on your identification card. The name says...
