Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Due to issues with my HTPC and s3 sleep, I just leave it on all the time. I used to have issues with a black screen or a messed up resolution when I turned my TV and A/V receiver back on and my HTPC resumed from sleep. I resolved those issues with a custom power plan, MCE Standby tool, some...
I'm running the unRaid server headless right now or I'd check, but what if I have my HDD's configured as IDE in the BIOS? Would that significantly slow it down? I read on a forum on lime-tech's site that an IDE HDD would get 10-15 Mb/s write speeds.
My drives are about half full each. I have my HTPC and unRaid server both wired to a gigabit ethernet switch which is wired to my wireless router. If I initiate a transfer from my laptop, I get super slow transfers of course, but if I initiate from my HTPC I get maybe twice as fast, 10 - 12...
My htpc to unRaid copy speeds are the same, and like an idiot I didn't try transferring between two non-unRaid PC's to test the speed. I don't really have 2 PC's wired on my network though. Aside from the HTPC and unRaid PC's I'm connected wirelessly with wireless N.
I do remember when I did...
Hey guys,
I'm experiencing some seriously slow copy speeds with my unRAID server. I opened a thread on the unRAID forums but didn't get any hits, and also scoured the unRAID wiki with no luck.
Maybe these speeds are normal based on my rigs, but they seem a bit slow to me. For example; If I...
Ah, it seems the EDID issue is the culprit of my mute issue after resume as well! I have so many scripts and custom buttons for my Harmony which runs them via EventGhost to resolve these little issues. It's rather annoying. haha.
I've never asked if my provider is Copy-Once, but I have moved some of my recordings to my server and played them from Win7 WMC on a laptop over my network, so I'm assuming Copy-Freely?
I've tried the No Sleep solution before and starting running into the display issues. It didn't happen...
I'm not really having any issues with the CableCARD itself (at least I don't think, but I've had weirder stuff happen) and I'm using a Ceton InfinitiTV 4. I'd love to get the most bang for my 300 bones, and get high marks for the WAF, but it seems like Windows or WMC is complicating things...
I'm having a lot of issues with Win7 Windows Media Center lately and I'm just curious:
Are there any good alternatives to Windows Media Center out there with CableCARD compatibility, specifically Ceton InfiniTV 4?
*EDIT*
Specs, just in case:
HTPC:
OS- Win7 x64 WMC

I thought the BSOD was just a general message, I wasn't sure if the numbers in it were specific to the problem. I will note the message next time it happens.
I'm using a Wesena ITX7 case, and a picoPSU 150 with a 120 watt brick, I'll update the OP.
I'll have to research my firmware on the...
