Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I installed a V8 on a AMD 965 BE in a CM Storm Case a year ago. Got great temps with it. Idled at around 25 degrees Celcius. A little bit heavy imo, but it does the job. V8 for $80 though is quite expensive...got mine for like $40ish?
What graphics card are you currently running? System specs? I think that your PSU should be handle a GTX 460 or a 6850 without any problems which should handle Diablo 3 w/ out a problem.
I would probably go with either the dual 6970's or 570's. It's a win win situation you're in. Both are great cards and will rip most games up. I probably wouldn't go for the 480's, not because it isn't a great card, but just in case you wanted to sell them out when the time came for you to...
If you're on a 24" with 1080p resolution, then I would go for the 1GB. I was thinking 1GB when I was first buying my GTX 460. But I, just like you, didn't find the needs to justify the purchase because I'm on a 22" and 1680x1050 resolution.
Very interesting. I did an RMA with Steelseries over a year and a half ago for a Siberia v1 headset and it went smoothly (not the most recent of transactions, sorry). I got my support ticket, mailed in the item, and the new item arrived not too long after.
I would go with the 1GB version of the 460 or the 6850. Price is real sweet right now and under $200. Or you can go w/ the 5870 like everyone is stating, great card.
Yea Kangg is right on. Your best bet is to stick with Home Premium if you don't need all the bells and whistles of what Pro/Ultimate have to offer. Home Premium will be sufficient for all your gaming and homework needs.
$60 is definitely pricey (just like all 360/PS3 games), but I think it's definitely worth it. The single player with 26 missions has high re-playability and that's not even half of it; you got multiplayer and other fun stuff as well. If you're somewhat interested in RTS games, I think it's a...
