6750xt being roughly 6% faster than the 6700xt makes it a solid choice when you can find them in the $325 range and it is a little better in power than the 6700xt.
I find it really hard to justify $400 for marketing talking...
I am not pleased with this, I got the email last night also.
We (family of 5) our streaming (youtube/hulu/amazon prime) easily breaks 1 TB a month. With a couple 4k screens, couple of PC's, Xbox series X, and a few other things, 1.5 TB is low month for me.
So I am going to spin up a DNS cache...
For sure, I am super excited for the future of it, Elon said 300mbps by the end of the year, we will see. Either way I am happy with what I have if it's all I get for a while.
I just see so many comments about people wanting to ditch thier "crappy" cable company haha.
Another concern no one...
So not in that screen shot, every so often 1 time a day or so there will be a long enough one, I assume it's when finding the next satellite or something I will rebuffer Netflix. There are layers to this, we (the family) might be streaming 2 Netflix streams and someone will be on YouTube. So...
So I got my availability February 8th, got my equipment on the 18th of February. (I signed up for the beta back in September of 2020.
I live in an area of Oregon that has NO internet option other than hughes or viasat old school satellite. (And those options are a joke, totally over priced and...
So my starlink is up and running!
First day/evening I didn't have much time to get things setup so I sat the dish on the roof of my trailer that sits to the east of my house.
Got it running and ran into a lot of disconnects due to obstructions. I have a lot of tall fir trees on the west and east...
Update: from my post last week.
Equipment has shipped!!!
Tracking number says Sunday delivery.
Availability email came, ordered immediately on the 8th of February. Said 2-4 weeks for equipment to ship. So we are ahead of schedule, fine by me.
Totally I am not worried at all 😃
Plus one of the base stations is in Charleston OR, like 60 miles as the crow flies. The only person that I know that has it installed nearby, about 10 miles away, is getting speed test around 180mbps and pings in the low 20's
I think a lot of the performance...
I got my availability email Monday, and order confirmation payment processed email, as fast I could click through. Email said it could take 2-4 weeks before I see the shipping/tracking number for my equipment.

Thanks, I am going to wait for a good deal on a 1660 super, its just such a big jump up in fps for not much more than a 5500xt or 1650super, and a whole lot more efficient than a 1070
They are firm on the price, That is why i am looking at alternatives / newer tech. but holy crap between all the different 1650's and 1660's and the 5500xt and 580's there seems to be about 20 different models numbers in that 150-220 price range. then when you read benchmarks and it seems in 90%...
First, is a msi 1070 8gb gaming X worth $200 on the used market? I found one for sale locally.
There is so much stuff in the 150-200 range.
There is a deal on dell for the 5500xt 4gb reference no external power for 150, or the 8gb for $180, now I hearing issues with those depending on the...
longevity for the overall system, is the main purpose, like my current setup was overkill 6 years ago when I built it. So if the next system takes me another 6 years it will be worth the little bit extra now. The ram and storage is a non issue, I will go with 32gb as long as I can add another 32...
