Hi everyone, just an update.
I found these Edifier R2000DB speakers on Black Friday sale on a lightning deal on Amazon.ca for $200 CAD (about $150 USD). I was originally going to hunt for a deal on the R1850DB's because they have a subwoofer out so I could add a sub in the future, but I...
Hey all,
I'm looking for recommendations for bookshelf speakers under about $300 Canadian.
Looking for powered speakers, as I don't want to run an amp.
Also am a bass-head, so I'm looking for something that has prominent lows. I'm open to getting a setting that includes a subwoofer, under the...
Hey everyone,
I just purchased a new computer case (Corsair 230T) and found that it has 2 USB 3.0 ports in the front of the case which connect with a 19-pin connector. However, my motherboard doesn't have anywhere to plug these in, so I'm looking for options on how to get these front USB 3.0...
Thanks to everyone that replied to this thread! I ended up going with the new case route because I thought it would be quite useful to have functioning USB, auxiliary, and microphone ports in the front of the case. I bought the Corsair 230T Case, switched over my parts, and now with the...
I was looking online to see where I could buy this, and stumbled upon another option that could work for me. It's a front drive bay that will give me the option of a front auxiliary port, where I will then be able to follow evilsofa's instructions to fix my issue. I wasn't able to find the audio...
I think a new case would be my best bet. It is also a bit inconvenient having my coiled headphones having to stretch from the back of the computer as well. I will have to find some time to buy a new case and switch all the parts over.
Thanks!
Thanks for the quick response. However, I'm struggling to grasp what you are recommending. My PC case doesn't seem to have any front panel audio jacks. The only audio jacks are in the back, on the sound card and the motherboard.
Also, I'm not quite sure how to plug the front panel audio to the...
Hey everyone,
Sorry for the newb question, but I've been Googling, searching, and reading manuals to no avail. I recently bought a Xonar DG sound card which I'm using instead of the onboard sound from my GA-Z68P-DS3. I have Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones and also 2.1 speakers, but both of...
Hey everyone,
I've recently come to find with my last 2 mice that the rubber grip coating is actually extremely slippery for me. I bought the Sensei Raw a couple of months ago but found the rubber coating to be super slippery to the point where when I am playing games it keeps sliding out of...
Nice, thanks. Any particular reasoning behind these parts? I've heard that AMD is often a better choice for midrange CPU's. Also, would you suggest buying a new aftermarket cooler for the new CPU? Or can my current one be fixed to fit the new sockets?
