Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I realized that toggling the FN key might not be a good idea after all since it also controls the LED brightness with Z, X, and C keys.
And my quest to find a software that'd let me change key mapping without restarting has been fruitless, as well...
I just tried the two programs. SharpKeys doesn't seem to recognize the FN key, which probably means it won't work with KeyTweak or any other remap softwares, either. It's really too bad.
I'm thinking the next best thing might be to just change the F1-F6 keys to media keys then use another...
Hello. I recently got a new keyboard and, though it feels great to type on, I'm not completely happy with the way it handles its media keys. I have to HOLD the FN key in order to activate it, instead of the key just toggling between normal F key and the media keys.
So I was wondering, is...
I'm not sure if this is the right forum. Please direct me to the right one if it isn't.
So, I bought a new Sager/Clevo laptop recently. It's a very customizable laptop that makes taking it apart a cinch. Anyways, instead of paying the reseller money to install thermal paste for me, I decided...
Ah, that makes sense. That's for the clarification.
Temporarily using my friend's GTX 460. I have a lifetime warranty on 9800 GT so I'm going to end up with the same card.
Interesting. Luckily I'll be sticking to Windows XP/7(dualboot) so I shouldn't have to worry too much.
Sorry, I have one...
Nice, thanks for the in-depth reply, guys, really appreciate it. Sorry for the late response on my part, my 9800GT decided to die on me completely on Tuesday night so I didn't have access to my computer. In any case, thanks again.
So if I were to use the secondary card for the third monitor...
I've read the other active topics regarding this issue but needed specific advice. I'm trying to find the most cost-effective way to add a 3rd monitor.
My computer is about 2 years old, mid range when I bought it. Right now it has one 9800GT 512mb with another PCI-E open. Using my google-fu...
Honestly, I wouldn't get it for $500. I returned mine about 10 times before I got one that was satisfactory, and even then it's not "perfect" and has backlight bleeding and coloring tint issues. The color tinting is VERY noticeable and white backgrounds.
I decided to bite the bullet because I...
I've been reading around this forum and couldn't find anything that could satisfy a fighting game fan. I play old school fighting games semi-competitively and I've kept around an old tube tv for just that purpose... until it broke last week.
Anyways, I'm looking for something around...
I returned my U2410 about 8 times and all of them had tinting+backlight problems. Dell's customer service was topnotch but they couldn't really check on the monitors personally due to the monitors being located in a separate warehouse. They were speedy in that I would get the replacements in 2...
