Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Please report back when you get it :).
FYI: only one reviewer on youtube for the 50" version and they claimed it has the "fake" 4k ala LG with 4:2:0 chroma. Should be perfectly fine for anything but displaying text.
This is what kept me from getting it. Not sure what it actually means for...
Yeah mostly for 3D rendering + AI / cuda experiments. I did want to do my best to support SLI if possible but I'm getting the sense that it actually might not be better in some games.
Truthfully, I am going to wait and see what the newer amd CPU offers but I have been looking for ryzen motherboards that support more than two cards, the highest I saw was 4 and it was about $500+. There doesn't seem to be one for 3 way SLI. Truthfully I care mostly about the cuda cores +...
Thank you for that, yeah I did some research on the amperes on 12v rail, about 49a so might be okay.
I don't overclock any of my components but good to know.
Looking to upgrade for cuda cores (not gaming).
Either going with another 970 or adding a 1050ti
Problem is I have this PSU:
EVGA - 80 PLUS 600W ATX 12V/EPS 12V...
As far as I can tell, my current motherboard would be able to support at least one other card no problem. But no more?

ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA AM3+ AMD 970 + SB 950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard
Hopefully I can...
I would love to support AMD but they seem to not be the best for this type of work (i.e octane).
I might still go with a new ryzen build too, even if it means no hackinstosh (probably super difficult hackintosh if its even possible).
I see, I mostly ask because a while back, sometimes the higher end nvidia cards would support less monitors than a random lower end card that was not so great for games but good if you just wanted like 5 monitors.
Such a shame :(. my gtx970 is ghetto version I suppose.
I was actually thinking of either (#1) selling it (#2) buying a 950ti when it goes on sale again and just using both (I am using this PC mainly for GPU based 3D renderers, I will have to investigate how it scales. (#3) add another 970...
Not for gaming, just for displaying 4k@60hz.
Any that are not super expensive?
Bonus:
What are the video cards that support the most monitors (not 4k) (also good value)?
Thanks
