    XFX 7950GX2 XXX Go read some reviews on it, most powerful card by a large margin. There are even reviews including the 1950XTX, still isn't really touched. SLI is supported, in-fact, the current lackluster performance is usually processor bottlenecking or the shallow queing in DX9.

    I use electrical tape to mark off the area I want it to cover (so it doesn't make a mess on the sides) then spread an almost invisible layer on with an old credit card. There's an interesting project - test different application methods and see the resulting temperature.
